The "Feathermaye Giveaway" Official Rules

Disclaimer: This contest is conducted and sponsored by me. Just me.
Although links to this contest may appear at various locations across the
World Wide Web, it originates with me and may be withdrawn at any time.
Currently only residents of the United States (all 50 states) are eligible for entry.

1.) By participating in the monthly giveaways you agree to accept, without challenge, the published results. I will employ the fairest methods available; I ask that you respond accordingly.

2.) Each contest period will be launched via a blog post that will include the starting and ending dates; the prize to be awarded; and a link to these official rules. Upon the expiration of the contest period, comments will be disabled until the winner has been successfully notified.

3.) Winners will be selected by an online randomizer of my choosing. (Currently, I choose this one.) A range of numbers encompassing all eligible entries will be entered into the randomizer and the entry that corresponds to the randomly selected number will be deemed the winner.

4.) There exists the potential for at least fourteen (14) eligible entries per person, per month. Comments made according to the following criteria will be considered "eligible entries":

Standard Entry Method:

• A comment made in response to the 'Feathermaye Friday Five'. There will be at least four of these per month.

One-time Entry Method:

• A comment indicating you have voted the website as "Best Entertainment Blog" and/or "Best Blog About Stuff" in the Blogger's Choice Awards. The buttons for voting can be found in the right-hand sidebar. You can only vote in each category once, so can earn one entry per category.
  

Single Bonus Entry Methods:

• A single comment indicating that you have subscribed by email --or are already subscribed-- to feathermaye's main blog (One of these per month, even if you are already subscribed). You can subscribe via the email entry box on the upper right-hand column of any page.
• A single comment indicating that you have begun following --or are already a follower of-- feathermaye on Twitter. In your comment, leave your twitter name (One of these per month, even if you are already following on twitter.

Multiple Bonus Entry Methods:

• A single comment (each) indicating you have twittered a link to this contest. In your comment, leave your twitter name (Up to four of these per month).
• A single comment (each) indicating you have shared a link to this contest on your own blog or in a social network/group. In your comment, leave a link to your post. (Up to four of these per month --one for each week).
• A single comment (each) indicating that you have promoted/shared the contest posts (individually) through stumbleupon, digg, reddit, kirtsy, etc. In your comment, leave your user name to the service used to promo the posts. (Multiple available, depending on the number of "shares" per user.)
  

5.) Winners will be notified by whatever means available (i.e. email (if shared), twitter, blog announcement, etc.). Winner must respond within seven (7) days of notification to redeem prize. If, after seven (7) days, winner does not respond, then all of the winner's eligible entries will be removed from consideration and an alternate winner will be selected (at random) from the remaining eligible entries.
